Horses Who Escaped Stable Corralled On Northern State Parkway In Suffolk It wasn’t a dirt track for a pair of horses on Long Island who ventured their way onto the Northern State Parkway. A team effort was required when two horses got out and had to be corralled back to their home using rice cakes as an incentive as New York State Police troopers blocked traffic on the parkway on Wednesday, Feb. 2, authorities announced.
