Swastika Discovered In Drying Cement On Driveway Of Long Island Home
Police are looking to the public for clues after a swastika was found etched into the drying cement of a Long Island home. The incident happened at approximately 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8 on Brian Drive in Merrick, according to Nassau County Police. The homeowner noticed the etching after wet cement was poured on his property on Tuesday, Oct. 6. Anyone who witnessed the vandalism or with any pertinent information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.

Swastika Spray-Painted On Building At Long Island Shopping Center
A swastika was spray-painted at a business inside a Long Island shopping center. It was discovered on Friday, Aug. 28 at 5:50 p.m in Massapequa Park. According to detectives, unknown subjects used white spray paint to graffiti the walls, carpet, and glass windows throughout a building located at 4900 Merrick Road. A swastika measuring approximately 18 inches by 18 inches was sprayed on a wall between the first and second floors. The investigation is ongoing. Stickers With Hateful White Supremacy Messages Found In Bay Shore, Police Say
Stickers with hateful messages and notions of white supremacy were recently found and reported in Bay Shore, police said. The stickers, which include images of swastikas and the KKK were found on street signs, crosswalks, on local buildings and several signs in town, police said. Investigators were notified and detectives from the Hateful Crimes Unit have launched an investigation. Police are also investigating swastikas that were drawn in chalk at a nearby park in Brightwaters on April 23. Officials are in the process of removing the stickers across town.
