Man With Samurai Sword Shot, Killed By Police At Long Island Home
A man wielding a samurai sword was shot and killed by officers during a domestic incident on Long Island, police say. It happened just after 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17 in Oceanside. According to detectives, officers responded to a 911 call for a domestic incident on Columbus Avenue where a 36-year-old man in possession of various knives had a verbal dispute with his father and sister.
