Serial Siphoner: Man Steals Cooking Oil Dozens Of Times Across Long Island, Police Say A Queens man has been arrested after police said he stole cooking oil from multiple businesses on Long Island. Rabindra Singh, age 47, was nabbed in connection to a series of cooking oil thefts, the Nassau County Police announced on Monday, May 6. His arrest comes after Singh, who is from Queens, allegedly was caught at Frantoni’s Pizzeria, located at 1928 Hempstead Turnpike, East Meadow, using a power pump and blue hose to siphon cooking oil into his 2012 Ford Econoline van. Man Breaks Into Long Island Home, Attempts To Steal Appliances: Police A Long Island man has been accused of breaking into a home and attempting to steal appliances. The man, 23-year-old Daniel Rodriguez of Great Neck, was reportedly seen using a tool to break into an abandoned residence on Steamboat Road on Friday, March 24, Nassau County Police said. After a witness called 911, police say officers found Rodriguez inside the house’s kitchen with additional tools, which he intended to use to remove the appliances.  According to police, Rodriguez did not have permission to enter the residence, nor did he have permission to remove any appliances or items.&…

Long Island Man Nabbed For Larceny, Police Say A Long Island man with an arrest history was nabbed for alleged larceny. The incident took place around 5 a.m., in Levittown on Tuesday, Aug. 30. According to detectives, police responded to 301 Newbridge Road for a larceny in progress. Upon confronting the subject, Scott Raba, age 51, of Seaford, he fled northbound on Newbridge Road into a wooded area.  Police set up a perimeter and were able to locate Raba.
