Three Teens Rescued After Paddle Craft Overturns Off Point Lookout
Three teenagers were rescued after the paddleboard they were on flipped over in the water off Point Lookout. Nassau County Police Marine Bureau Marine 6 officers responded on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 5:40 p.m. to a call for a capsized vessel with three people in the water of Reynolds Channel in the area of East Marina, according to police. Three Stranded Jet Skiers Rescued Off Point Lookout
Three people on jet skis were rescued after becoming stranded off Point Lookout, the Nassau County Police said. Police received notice of three people stranded when notified by the U.S. Coast Guard of a distress call around 9:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 6, said the Nassau County Police. First responders from the Village of Hempstead and Point Lookout at Lido Beach Fire Department responded and rescued the three, reportedly a man and two boys, within a short time, police said. All were wearing life jackets and none were injured.
