One Shot, Two Others Beaten At Long Island Party Police are investigating after two people were injured by a group of people at a Long Island party, and a 38-year-old man was shot in the leg. Nassau County Police Department reported that the shooting happened at 11:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 3 in New Hyde Park. The incident took place around 4:55 a.m., Friday, Jan. 1, in Baldwin, said Nassau County Police. According to detectives, police responded to a disturbance at a Middle Bay Drive residence. Covid-19: Cops Bust Massive Suffolk Mansion Party With Hundreds Of People A Long Island mansion that was rented as an Airbnb was home to a massive party with hundreds of guests in violation of state COVID-19 guidance that had to be broken up by the police overnight. Officers responded to a 10-acre mansion on Hawkins Lane at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 30, according to police, where there was an ongoing party with upwards of 400 guests in attendance. Man Wanted For Assaulting Victim At Suffolk County Party Police are looking for a male between the ages of 15 and 25 who police said struck a 62-year-old man who was dispersing a party taking place in his home.  The incident took place at approximately 9:55 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24 at a home in Farmingville on Somers Court.  The victim, Suffolk County Police said, was treated for minor injuries at Stony Brook University Hospital.  Those with information pertaining to the incident are asked to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers for a reward by calling 800-220-TIPS, using the P3Tips mobile app or online.
