Six employees are facing charges after allegedly selling vape products to customers under the age of 21 at Long Island businesses. All six employees were arrested during compliance checks that were conducted at several Suffolk County businesses on Tuesday, Feb. 6, according to police. Two Long Island establishments have been cited for violations during State Liquor Authority inspections conducted overnight. The operations were conducted from 10 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 until around midnight on Sunday, Jan. 29 in Huntington at: The Ivy Kitchen and Bar, located at 65 Wall St., Nag’s Head Ale House, located at 396 New York Ave. The Ivy Kitchen and Bar was issued three violations by the SLA and six violations and one summons by the Town of Huntington Fire Marshall, Suffolk County Police said. Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who they say skipped out on a $572 bill at a Long Island restaurant. The incident happened June 20 in Huntington at Taste of Asia (T.O.A.), located on New York Avenue, according to Suffolk County Police. Restaurant workers told police a group of people ordered approximately $1,000 worth of food, but only paid about half of the bill. Police are asking for the public’s help finding a man accused of using stolen credit cards at a store on Long Island. The cards belonged to a Greenlawn man who lost his wallet in Huntington Tuesday, April 26, according to Suffolk County Police. New surveillance photos of a man wanted for using stolen credit cards at a Long Island department store are circulating as police investigators attempt to locate their suspect. Man Accused Of Burglarizing Suffolk County Business, Multiple Homes
The investigation into a “suspicious man” on Long Island who was busted for drug possession found that he was linked to multiple burglaries, police said. Officers from the Suffolk County Police Department responded to Glenna Little Trail in Huntington at 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 29, where there was a report of a suspicious man in the area.
