It happened on Friday, March 8 in Massapequa, according to Nassau County Police. At around 9:45 p.m., a man walked into the Rite Aid located at 5125 Merrick Road with a backpack and a shopping bag. The manager of Rite Aid said the alleged thief walked into the restricted area of the store, going all the way into the store’s basement.
