The incident occurred in Quogue around 6:30 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 13 on the Montauk Highway near the intersection of Catbrier Road. According to Quogue Chief of Police Christopher Isola, responding officers arrived and found a pickup truck in the woods with a 71-year-old man in the driver seat suffering an apparent medical emergency. Long Island Man Dies After Driving Off Dock In Port Jefferson A man pulled from the water was pronounced dead after authorities say he drove off a dock on Long Island. The incident happened around 7:20 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16 in Port Jefferson. He was operating a vehicle on West Broadway at the Port Jeff dock when he suffered an apparent medical emergency and drove into the water, Suffolk County Police said. The man has been identified as Stuart Dorfman, age 74, of Plainview, according to police. Detectives are asking anyone with information on this incident to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392.

Man Hospitalized After Suffering Medical Event At Long Island Restaurant A 61-year-old man was hospitalized after suffering a medical event at a Long Island restaurant. The man suffered the medical episode in Levittown at about 10:45 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 4, according to the Nassau County Police Department. When officers arrived, a nurse was giving the man CPR, NCPD said. Officers continued giving CPR, and the man regained and lost a pulse multiple times, police said.  Wantagh-Levittown Ambulance Corp. also responded and began giving medical aid, NCPD said.  The man was taken to an area hospital and was listed in stable condition, police said.
