Suffolk Officer Indicted For Allegedly Filing False Info In Police Report
A Long Island police officer has been indicted by a special grand jury for allegedly making false statements in connection with the arrest of an area man who he claimed resisted arrest. Suffolk County Police Officer Matthew Cameron, age 33, of Commack, was charged Thursday, Dec. 2, with offering a false instrument for filing, said Suffolk County District Attorney Timothy D. Sini.
