Dog Fighter From Long Island Sentenced After Pit Bulls Found With Bite, Puncture Wounds
A 64-year-old dog fighter from Long Island will spend time behind bars and will be banned from owning animals for a decade after investigators found seven pit bulls with bite and puncture wounds all over their body. Westbury resident Jessie Jones has been sentenced to six months in jail and a 10-year ban on owning animals after the animals were found on his property, Nassau County District Attorney Madeline Singas said.
