ID Released For 21-Year-Old Found Fatally Shot In Park On Long Island The identity has been released of a 21-year-old man who was found fatally shot in a park on Long Island. Officers in Uniondale responded to a report of a victim with a gunshot wound at Uniondale Avenue Park at about 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19, the Nassau County Police Department reported. On Thursday, July 21, police identified the victim as Walter Ochoa Jr., age 21, of Uniondale. Woman Shot Inside House During Drive-By Shooting In Suffolk A Long Island woman was hit by a stray bullet inside her home during a drive-by shooting. The incident took place in Suffolk County around 10 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 24 in North Amityville. According to detectives, officers responded to a residence located at 26 Benjoe Drive after several shots were fired at the house from a passing vehicle. It happened on Friday, Dec. 25 at around 6:36 a.m. in Baldwin.
