Wedding Brawl: Man Bites Cop Trying To Break Up Fight At Saint James Venue, Police Say A 22-year-old man is facing charges after allegedly biting a police officer during a fight at a wedding venue on Long Island. Suffolk County Police were called at around 7:45 p.m. Monday, Sept. 4, for a fight in Saint James, at the Flowerfield Celebrations venue on Mills Pond Road. Officers arrived to find several skirmishes that had broken out among the over 100 wedding guests. The brawl prompted several agencies to respond, including the Second, Fifth, and Sixth Precincts, as well as Smithtown Park Rangers and Head of the Harbor Police.
