President Biden Grants Clemency To NY Women Convicted Of Selling Cocaine Two New York women convicted of non-violent federal drug offenses are among 16 people nationwide to receive clemency from President Joe Biden. Stacy Wilder, age 49, of Albany, served nearly six years in federal prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to possess and distribute cocaine in the Northern District of New York in January 2003. She received a full pardon from the president. ShopRite To Close Hudson Valley Store After more than 30 years of serving Hudson Valley grocery shoppers, a popular ShopRite store will close by the end of next year. The 55,500-square-foot store, located in Ulster County in Ellenville, at 1 ShopRite Boulevard off Route 209, was opened in 1993 by Wakefern Food Corporation in New Jersey.  It is the only major grocery store in the village. New York Woman Claims $1 Million Lottery Prize A Hudson Valley woman has just won a $1,000,000 New York Lottery prize. Judith Arginsky, who is from the Ulster County village of Ellenville, claimed the top prize in the lottery's Word Cashword scratch-off game, New York Lottery reported on Friday, Dec. 17. The ticket was purchased at Stewart’s Shops, located at 99 South Main St. in Ellenville. Arginsky received her prize as a single lump-sum payment of $651,000 after required withholdings, NY Lottery reported.
