Two Women Charged In Robbery Of Long Island Beauty Shop Two women have been charged after police say they were involved in the robbery of a Long Island beauty supply shop. Officers with the Nassau County Police Department arrested Jennifer Steele-Taylor, 36, of Baldwin, and Jennifer Dadd, 37, of Hempstead, on Wednesday, Oct. 23. Police say the suspects were observed taking items off the shelves at Ebony Beauty Supply in Freeport (171 W. Merrick Road) on Sunday, Oct. 13 around 3:15 p.m. The suspects were seen by the owner, who allegedly recognized Steele-Taylor based on a previous shoplifting incident.
