Long Island Man Busted For Driving High On Drugs, Crashing, Police Say
A Long Island man was charged with alleged DWAI/drugs and possession of drugs following a single-vehicle crash. The incident took place in Nassau County around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 18 in the area of 7 Newbridge Road in Hicksville. According to Nassau County Police, officers responded to the scene of an auto accident in which Patrick Schlereth, age unknown, of East Meadow, had lost control of his 2022 Subaru Outback when he struck two parked cars causing his vehicle to overturn. Seen her? New York State Police investigators on Long Island issued an alert for a wanted woman who was arrested more than seven years ago for allegedly driving while under the influence of drugs. Christina Kavanagh, age 59, is wanted by the New York State Police and Nassau County First District Court after being arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and DWAI by drugs on Oct. 10, 2013. Alert Issued For Long Island Man Wanted Since 2006
New York State Police investigators in East Meadow are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man who has been wanted since 2006. An alert has been issued for Wesley Harvey, who is wanted after being arrested for DWAI and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle dating back to an incident on Oct. 6, 2006. Police said that a bench warrant was issued for Harvey on Oct. 20, 2006, after he failed to pay a fine. Police investigators in Nassau County are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to track down a man who is wanted on a bench warrant after being busted for driving while impaired by drugs and failing to show up to court proceedings.
