Levar Jackson, age 44, and Jaclyn Misuraca, age 45, both of Islip Terrace, were arraigned on charges of conspiracy to distribute fentanyl in Central Islip federal court on Wednesday, Feb. 7. Prosecutors said the pair sold nearly 270 grams of the drug in public locations across Long Island between May 2023 and January 2024. Brentwood resident Jonathan Hernandez, age 24, a member of the Sailors Locos Salvatruchas Westside (Sailors) clique of La Mara Salvatrucha, also known as the MS-13, pleaded guilty to racketeering charges.
