Two Women Nabbed After Long Island Police Chase A woman has been arrested on Long Island for taking police on a chase and then fleeing on foot. The incident took place around 12:35 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 10, in Uniondale, said the Nassau County Police.  According to detectives, officers observed a black 2001 Nissan Maxima commit multiple traffic violations near the intersection of Nassau Road and Uniondale Avenue.  As officers attempted to initiate a car stop the vehicle refused to pull over and entered the Southern State Parkway westbound at Exit 21.
