A suspect is in custody after a person was critically injured in a stabbing at a Long Island amusement park.
The incident happened shortly before 5 p.m. Sunday, July 7, in East Farmingdale.
Suffolk County Police said two men who are known to each other were involved in a dispute involving several people at Adventureland Amusement Park, located at 2245 Broadhollow Road.
Daniel Tomasky, age 42, of Shirley, then stabbed James Burns, age 47, of Edgewater, Florida, in the abdomen with a knife, according to police.

Thomas Saxton, age 36 of East Rockaway, entered his guilty plea on Wednesday, Jan. 10, according to the Nassau County District Attorney.

A Long Island father and son were stabbed by a contractor and another man during a fight at the home where the two were working.
The incident took place in Suffolk County around 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 7 at 2686 44th St. in Copiague.
