Jones Beach Restaurant The Landing Will Not Be Back This Summer, New Eatery Coming This story has been updated.  Landing at Jones Beach, which opened in the West Bathhouse in 2018, will not be back this summer.  The Landing operated for two years and the contract was terminated in December, George Gorman, the regional director of New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, told Daily Voice. "State Park’s has gone through the competitive bid process where a new operator was selected and the restaurant and catering facility will be open for the season in early summer, possibly as early as Memorial Day weekend," he said in an email. …
