Man Displaying Money Attempted To Lure Child Into Vehicle On Long Island, Police Say
A man on Long Island allegedly attempted to lure a teenage girl into his vehicle by displaying money, police said. The 14-year-old girl, who was on her way to school in Franklin Square, was approached by a man on Center Drive at approximately 7:20 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11, Nassau County Police said. According to police, the man was driving an older model black Toyota Corolla. At the time of the luring incident, the man allegedly displayed money and attempted to get the girl to enter her vehicle.
