ID Released For Woman Found Dead At Long Island Home With Suspect In Custody The identity has been released of a woman who was found dead inside a Long Island home in a case in which a suspect has been charged with murder. The incident happened just before noontime on Saturday, March 16 in Wantagh. Nassau County Police Seventh Precinct officers responded to an Oakland Avenue residence for a welfare check.  Upon arrival, they observed the woman, now identified as Mary Heaton, age 82, on the floor.
