One Killed, Two Injured In Port Jefferson Station Construction Crew Accident
One man was killed and two others injured in a construction crew accident on Long Island. It happened at about 1:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9 in Port Jefferson Station, Suffolk County Police said. Bryan Masem, 41, of the hamlet of Yaphank in Brookhaven, was driving his 2016 Chevy pickup truck southbound on Bicycle Path when he passed a construction crew that had a cable guide wire lying on the ground across the roadway near 617 North Bicycle Path, police said.
