Riverhead Principal Accused Of Sexual Abuse Resigns Former Riverhead High School Principal Charles Regan has tendered his resignation amid allegations that he sexually abused a female student. In May, 18-year-old Anastasia Stapon claimed that Regan was a “sexual deviant” who “deluded her into complete dependence upon him alone,” an attorney for the teen claimed. She has since filed a $10 million federal lawsuit against the Riverhead Central School District and Regan.
