It happened on Sunday, Sept. 27 at 4:10 p.m. in Roosevelt.

While traveling westbound in a 2020 Toyota Rav4 on Hudson Avenue, between Elysian Terrace and North Long Beach Avenue, an unidentified female operator left the roadway and struck a tree, Nassau County Police said.

As a result of the collision her car became fully engulfed in flames, according to police.
