The raid on Thursday, June 20 at 5:35 p.m. was at the Four Seasons Spa, located at 367 West Jericho Turnpike, police said.

In response to community complaints, Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section officers, assisted by the Town of Huntington Public Safety, Criminal Intelligence detectives, and Second Squad detectives conducted an investigation into alleged illegal activity at the spa, according to police.

Jing Mei Zou, 50, and Qiong Zhou, 55, both of Flushing, were arrested and charged with two counts of prostitution, and two counts of unauthorized practice of a profession, said police.

The Town of Huntington issued five summonses for building violations, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.

Zou and Zhou were held overnight at the Fourth Precinct and are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Friday, June 21.

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Four earlier arrests were made in two other massage parlor raids on Long Island. Four people were charged with prostitution after busts at two massage parlors prompted by community complaints in Hicksville, police said. Click here for the story.
