Two suspects are on the loose after an armed robbery that occurred while the victims were getting out of a car in the driveway of their residence on Long Island, police said.

It happened on Monday, Sept. 9 at around 5 a.m. in North Woodmere, Nassau County Police said.

According to detectives, the four victims parked their car in the driveway of their house.

As the victims walked toward the house, two unknown male suspects ran toward them, said police.

The men yelled to get on the ground and one suspect displayed a handgun, according to police.

The suspects took money and jewelry from the victims, and then got into a dark-colored sedan and fled the scene in an unknown direction, police said.

The first suspect is described as a 5-foot-8, approximately 230-pound black man with black braids, wearing a blue shirt with white denim jeans.

The second subject is described as a 5-foot-11 black man with a thin build, short black hair, wearing a black shirt and dark-colored pants.

The victims were not injured and the investigation is ongoing, police said.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
