Driver Seriously Injured In Two-Vehicle Huntington Station Crash

 A weekend crash that injured two people, one seriously, in Huntington Station is under investigation by Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives.

Aleen Sevadjian, 32, of Wantagh was in a 2018 Honda CR-V facing westbound on East Rogues Path waiting to make a left turn onto Lodge Avenue when the crash occurred, Suffolk County Police said.

Her Honda was then rear-ended by a 1999 Ford F-550 being driven by Josue Menjivacruz, 21, of Glen Cove, at approximately 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, May 11.

Menjivacruz was taken via Suffolk County Police helicopter to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Sevadjian was taken via ambulance to Huntington Hospital with minor injuries.

Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks.
