A weekend crash that injured two people, one seriously, in Huntington Station is under investigation by Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives.

Aleen Sevadjian, 32, of Wantagh was in a 2018 Honda CR-V facing westbound on East Rogues Path waiting to make a left turn onto Lodge Avenue when the crash occurred, Suffolk County Police said.

Her Honda was then rear-ended by a 1999 Ford F-550 being driven by Josue Menjivacruz, 21, of Glen Cove, at approximately 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, May 11.

Menjivacruz was taken via Suffolk County Police helicopter to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Sevadjian was taken via ambulance to Huntington Hospital with minor injuries.

Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call the Second Squad at 631-854-8252 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
