911 Call Of Shots Fired Leads To Suffolk Man's Arrest For Possession Of Weapons, Narcotics

A report of shots fired led to the arrest of a 25-year-old man on Long Island who was busted with weapons and drugs, police said.

Officers from the Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct responded to a 911 call of shots fired at a Spruce Circle home at approximately 12:30 p.m., on Monday, Nov. 25 in Farmingville.

Police said that the investigation determined that Michael Arellano, 25, who lived in the Spruce Circle home, illegally discharged a firearm and was in possession of drugs at the time officers arrived.

Arellano was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment, prohibited use of a weapon, criminal possession of a controlled and criminal possession of a firearm. 

Arellano was held overnight and arraigned in First District Court in Central Islip on Tuesday, Nov. 26.
