20-Year-Old Man Killed In Dix Hills Crash

A 20-year-old was killed in a crash between two motorcycles on Long Island.

It happened in Dix Hills just after 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 16, Suffolk County Police said.

The victim, Andrew Parisi, of Farmingdale, was operating a 2018 Yamaha westbound on Express Drive North just east of Exit 51 when his motorcycle collided with a 2007 Honda motorcycle operated by Nikolas Manitaras, 20, of North Massapequa, according to police.

Parisi lost control of the Yamaha and crashed into the wooded area nearby, said police.

Parisi was taken via North Shore University Medical Center Ambulance to Huntington Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Manitaras was not injured.

The motorcycles were impounded for safety checks.
