In 10 months of the investigation, authorities executed more than 100 search warrants into homes, vehicles, and digital sources to gather evidence, the DA's Office said.

Investigators found that NFL members took orders from incarcerated gang members Keandre Hudson and Janell Johnson, and they stole or possessed 15 stolen vehicles, often at the direction of Hudson and Johnson, Tierney said.

Members also allegedly committed other larcenies, Tierney said.

During the investigation, authorities found that Jorge Mauricio Sevilla Barrera was murdered in Farmingville at about 2:50 a.m. on Dec. 5, 2021, after he was involved in an argument with David Trent, and Trent fatally shot him, the DA's Office said.

Two other victims reportedly suffered non-fatal injuries in the shooting.

Authorities also investigated an armed carjacking and robbery of a Lyft driver in Wading River that happened on April 13, the DA's Office said.

Tierney said a Schenectady juvenile, Corey Foggy, and Trent allegedly were passengers in the vehicle, and the Schenectady boy began striking the driver. The teen from Schenectady and Trent allegedly pointed guns at the driver's head.

Foggy then exited the vehicle and pulled the driver out, causing the driver to fall to the ground, Tierney said. The Schenectady teen got into the driver's seat and began driving the vehicle away with Trent in the back seat, the DA's Office reported.

The driver suffered lacerations to his forehead, head, and knee during the incident, according to the report.

On May 5, members of the gang committed an armed carjacking in Wantagh, investigators found.

Investigators found that Trent, Romaine Hopkins, and Mekhi Kennedy traveled from Suffolk County to Wantagh at about 8:50 p.m., pointed a gun at a victim's head, and stole her Mercedes-Benz sedan, Tierney said.

Then on May 28, Trent and Taevon Bazemore allegedly fired multiple rounds into the windows of a vehicle that was occupied by alleged rival gang members, the DA's Office said.

Tierney said the indictment also covers an incident on June 4, in which Trent and another individual allegedly fired rounds into the windows and walls of a Mastic residence.

Later that night, Trent, Foggy, Mekhi Kennedy, and Nisiah Jones traveled to Nassau County and allegedly robbed a victim at gunpoint of a 2022 BMW M340i in a Dairy Queen parking lot in Levittown, the DA's Office said.

That same night, Trent, Kennedy, Foggy, and Nisiah Jones allegedly engaged in a shootout with rival gang members in Mastic. No one was injured.

Trent and Foggy were arrested in Brookhaven on June 8 after they were found with a stolen 2015 BMW 3 Series that was taken from East Hampton on May 17, Tierney said.

On July 24, at about 3:45 a.m., Marquize Pittman, Kennedy, and Walter Jones allegedly stole six French Bulldog puppies and the mother of the puppies from the home of a dog breeder, according to the report.

The DA's Office said the puppies have not been recovered, but the mother dog was recovered from a shelter.

On Friday, Oct. 7, police executed a search warrant at the Wading River home of Matthew Walker and recovered a .9mm Taurus Pistol, the DA's Office said.

Tierney said Walker, Jason Parker, and Kevin Cabrera were arrested at the home.

Authorities also investigated the shooting of two victims outside of Congressman Lee Zeldin's home in Shirley on Sunday, Oct. 9, the DA's Office said.

Investigators found that Noah Green drove a stolen 2022 Honda CR-V and shot out of the driver's side window at three alleged rival gang members, striking two of them in the chest, Tierney said.

The victims survived the shooting.

Green was arrested on Monday, Oct. 31, according to the report.

In another incident, Cabrera is accused of committing an armed carjacking with a juvenile defendant identified as "Jane Doe" in Hempstead on Thursday, Nov. 24, the DA's Office reported.

Tierney said ten of the 18 defendants were arrested on Thursday, Dec. 8, and seven of the defendants were already in custody on other charges.

One defendant remains at large, the DA's Office said.
