A New York City helicopter shuttle service will fly customers to the Hamptons next month but local residents are concerned about the noise, according to a New York Post article.
Wheels Up is the company selling the 40-minute flights to East Hampton Airport, said the newspaper.
For 10 years area residents have been fighting the helicopter rides and even filed FAA complaints and lawsuits, New York Post reported.
The area residents want helicopters to travel over water, said the article.
