As the official start of summer approaches, it’s time to start scoping out some new waterfront restaurants where you can enjoy an elegant meal by the water.
Fortunately, you can make the most of the cuisine and waterfront options at Mill Pond House, located at 437 East Main St. in Centerport.
In addition to hosting lobster nights every Monday, Mill Pond House’s brunch, lunch and dinner menu is full of savory salads, seafood entrees, steak, pasta and more.
Mill Pond House also provides a raw bar with freshly caught sea fare including littleneck clams, shrimp cocktail, east and west coast oysters and more.
The eatery offers a variety of wines, craft beers and specialty cocktails with weekly happy hour specials.
What truly sets Mill Pond House apart from other eateries like it is its heated patio, which is open year-round, as well as the spectacular waterfront views.
“Situated on the Mill Pond of Centerport, this cozy colonial built almost 100 years ago has a great history with more to come. The spectacular water views mirror the kitchen’s creations and humble service,” reads the restaurant’s website.
