From Victim To Defendant: 13-Year-Old Charged In Connection To Area Shootings A 13-year-old boy who was injured in a shooting in the region is now charged in connection to the attack as well as a second shooting. Emergency crews in Albany were at around 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, for a shooting in the city’s Arbor Hill neighborhood, near Henry Johnson Boulevard. When they arrived, they found a 13-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg, according to Albany Police. Teen Gang Assault: 5 Suspects Accused Of Repeatedly Beating 16-Year-Old In Hudson Valley Five Hudson Valley teens have been charged with allegedly repeatedly beating a 16-year-old causing bleeding from his mouth and nose. The incident took place in Ulster County near the entrance to the Berme Road Park in Ellenville. After the teen was able to break away and run, the five continued to follow him as he fled the park and beat him again at two other locations including at 244 Canal St., said Chief Phillip Mattracion, of the Ellenville Police. Joseph DeBellis, of Airmont, was sentenced on Tuesday, March 15, to six months of incarceration followed by five years of probation, according to Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Walsh.
