22-Year-Old Sold Fentanyl To Area Man Who Died From Overdose, Police Say Six months after a 26-year-old man from the region died from a drug overdose, the dealer who allegedly sold him the drugs is facing charges. Schenectady resident Reuben Sangster, age 22, was arrested Wednesday, May 17, on suspicion of criminally negligent homicide, according to Watervliet Police. 3 Kids Found In Car Of Drugged Driver In Region, Police Say A 29-year-old man from the region is facing charges after allegedly driving high on drugs with children in the car, authorities said. Albany County resident Michael Smith, of Cohoes, was arrested following a traffic stop in Watervliet late Monday night, Jan. 9, according to Watervliet Police. Officers stopped Smith at around 11:30 p.m. near 25th Street and Second Avenue for vehicle and traffic law violations. In Albany County, firefighters in Watervliet were called at around 2 p.m. Thursday, July 28th, with reports of a residential fire near 6th Avenue and 23rd Street. Multiple homes were impacted by the fire but there were no reports of injuries, according to the Watervliet Fire Department.
