A woman driving without a license was hospitalized after police say she caused a chain-reaction crash into a home in the Hudson Valley. It happened in Rockland County at around 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 6 in Ramapo. An investigation by police determined that a vehicle traveling on the roadway had lost control, causing it to strike a parked vehicle. A Long Island man has pleaded guilty in the Hudson Valley to attempted dissemination of indecent materials to minors. A school bus driver is facing multiple charges, including two felonies, following a crash into a house that left several children injured in the Hudson Valley. ID Released For 23-Year-Old Killed In Crash On Busy Area Roadway
State police have released the identity of a Hudson Valley man killed in a crash with a tree truck on a busy roadway. The crash took place in Orange County in the town of Tuxedo on Old Route 17 around 7:30 a.m., Monday, April 18, said Trooper Steven Nevel. Ahkem Chu III, age 23, of Chester, was driving a 2007 Honda Accord southbound on Old Route 17 when for unknown reasons he crossed over into the northbound lane and struck a tree truck that was fully loaded, Nevel said.
