Deadly Weekend: 2 Men Killed In Separate Crashes In Region Two men are dead following separate crashes involving pedestrians in the region. The first incident happened in Albany County just before midnight Saturday, Nov. 11, in Colonie on Central Avenue. A man walked into the roadway near Fuller Road and was struck by a Ford F-150 truck that was driving westbound, according to Colonie Police. The victim, identified as 49-year-old David Herskind, was pronounced dead at the scene. A 48-year-old Albany man who was driving the truck remained at the scene and is cooperating with police. Woman Admits To Role In Kidnapping, Murder Of Man In Area A Hudson Valley woman has pleaded guilty to manslaughter in connection with the kidnapping and beating death of a man in the area. Orange County resident Courtney Clemenza, age 33, of Chester, pleaded on Wednesday, March 24, in connection with the December 2019 death of a man beaten and bound on Kipp Road in the Town of Goshen, said Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler.
