Box Truck Hits, Kills 41-Year-Old Man On Roadway In Region A man was struck and killed while walking on a roadway in the region. The Saratoga County incident happened at around 5 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, on Route 9 in the town of Halfmoon, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. Michael Blackburn, age 41, was walking along Route 9 near Sitterly Road when he was struck by a box car. Blackburn, of Clifton Park, was taken to Samaritan Hospital where he died from his injuries, deputies said. Man Accused Of Pulling Gun During Argument In Area An Albany man is facing multiple charges for allegedly pulling a gun during an argument in Saratoga County. Robert Maciong, age 26, was arrested in Malta Friday, April 22, on a warrant that was issued following the incident in October 2021, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said. Investigators said Maciong pointed the gun at another person during the altercation that happened on Sitterly Road in Halfmoon. Two children were also present during the incident, police said.
