Fatal Crash: 38-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Crash In Region One person is dead following a single-vehicle crash in the region. The Greene County wreck happened at around 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, on State Route 23 in the town of Windham. New York State Police said 38-year-old Adam Kingsley, of Hunter, was driving a Toyota westbound on State Route 23 when he went off the roadway and struck a tree. Kingsley, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved and there were no other reports of injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

The victim, from Newburgh, who had to be extricated from the vehicle, died from his injuries, said Lt. Dennis Carpenter, of the town of Newburgh Police. Hudson Valley Man Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash A Hudson Valley man was killed during a single-vehicle crash, The crash took place in Rockland County around 9 a.m., Saturday, April 9, on Route 45  in Ramapo on North Main Street and Bristol Lane. On arrival, officers learned that the sole occupant of the vehicle, a 57-year-old man from Hillcrest, had been ejected from a Jeep Grand Cherokee, the Ramapo Police said. Woman, 25, Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash In Area A 25-year-old woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash after losing control of her vehicle and hitting a tree. Orange County resident Rachael Angelo, of Circleville, in the town of Wallkill, was killed around 10:20 p.m., Wednesday, May 5, on Route 17, in Goshen, said New York State Police Trooper Steven Nevel. Angelo was driving a gray Volkswagen went for "some reason" she lost control, went off the left shoulder of the highway, and crashed into a tree, Nevel said. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
