Over $250K Raised For Families Of Deputy, Cop Killed In Shootout On Quiet Suburban NY Street More than a quarter of a million dollars has been raised to support the families of a police officer and sheriff's deputy killed in a shootout with a suspect who also died on a quiet suburban street in upstate New York earlier this week. The two officers were  Onondaga County Sheriff’s Deputy Michael Hoosock, age 37, and Syracuse Police Officer Michael Jensen, age 29. Police Investigating Shooting At Poughkeepsie Gas Station With Numerous Bystanders Police are investigating a shooting between two men at an area gas station while numerous bystanders were in the range of fire.  The incident took place in Dutchess County around 9:54 a.m. at the Gulf Gas Station at 128 Washington St., in the City of Poughkeepsie, said Det. Lt. Matt Clark. Responding officers found evidence that multiple shots were fired in the parking lot of that gas station between one subject inside a vehicle and the other outside the vehicle, Clark said.
