Agreement Reached For $9.5 Billion Project To Create New Terminal 1 At JFK State officials say that an agreement has been reached for a $9.5 billion project to create a new international terminal at John F. Kennedy International Airport.  Gov. Kathy Hochul announced on Monday, Dec. 13, that the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey reached a revised agreement with The New Terminal One, an association of financial sponsors, to build the 2.4 million-square-foot terminal. Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced on Monday, Aug. 24 that testing sites were being arranged for travelers coming into New York from states with high COVID-19 infection rates. Man Who Groped Girl On Newark Flight Gets 90 Days In Fed Pen An Indian national who admitted that he groped a teenage girl on a flight to Newark from Seattle was sentenced Friday to 90 days in federal prison.  Vijaykumar Krishnappa, 29, got the maximum Friday after pleading guilty in early November to assault in the special aircraft jurisdiction of the United States in exchange for a sentence of 30 to 90 days.
