'Outstanding End' After Missing 14-Year-Old From Region Located
This story has been updated. A 14-year-old boy from the region who was reported missing has been located. Rensselaer County resident Matthew Ramos, of North Greenbush, left his home at the Eagle Rock Apartments sometime overnight Thursday, April 4, according to police. Detectives had urged residents in the Defreestville, Highland Park, and Mansions area to check their outside surveillance video to aid in the search. Police are warning of an uptick in scammers hoping to take advantage of the warmer spring weather. A 21-year-old man is accused of threatening a driver with a hammer before following the victim to a police station during a suspected road rage incident in the region. Police in Rensselaer County were called at around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, with reports that a driver in the town of North Greenbush had been cut off by another car on Pawling Avenue near Winter Street, according to North Greenbush Police.
