President Of Volunteer Fire Dept. In Region Dies In Crash The president of a volunteer fire department in the Capital District has died following a motorcycle crash, authorities said. Emergency crews in Saratoga County were called just after 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, with reports of a two-car crash in the Town of Galway, on State Route 29. Chad Jazwinski, age 46, of Galway, was driving his motorcycle westbound when he struck an oncoming vehicle that was making a left-hand turn into a parking lot near Benzal Road, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said. Two Killed In LaGrange Crash, Police Say Two people were killed during a Hudson Valley crash between a motorcycle and a vehicle. The crash took place in Dutchess County around 7:30 p.m., Saturday, May 21 at the intersection of Overlook Road and Keith Drive in LaGrange. The victims have not been identified pending notification of next of kin, said Capt. John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office. Man Killed After Stolen-Vehicle Route 9 Chase Ends In Crash A 38-year-old man allegedly driving a stolen motorcycle was killed following a chase that ended in a two-vehicle crash in Northern Westchester. The chase ended around 4:15 p.m., Sunday, April 3, after New York State Police attempted to make a traffic stop of a stolen 2019 Kawasaki motorcycle at the Annsville Circle in the town of Cortlandt, said Trooper AJ Hicks.
