Suspects At Large After Victims Assaulted, Robbed In Area, Police Say Police are searching for two suspects accused of assaulting and robbing victims in the area.  The incident happened in the Ulster County village of New Paltz at about 4:10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19, according to the New Paltz Police Detective Division. Investigators said police received a report that the assault happened on North Front Street. Responding officers determined that two female suspects assaulted the victims and stole their belongings. Police Investigating Armed Robbery Outside Of Area Business Police are searching for suspects in connection with an armed robbery outside of an area business. The incident happened in Ulster County around 4:20 a.m. on Saturday, July 24 near a New Paltz establishment at Main Street and Prospect Street. The New Paltz Police Department received a report of an accident involving a pedestrian shortly before 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10 near the area of the Wallkill Bridge. Smith, of New Paltz, was arrested around 10:20 p.m., Friday, Jan. 24, and charged with one count of felony assault, said Lt. Robert Lucchesi of the New Paltz Police Department.
