Shoplifter From Beacon Caught With Crack Cocaine After Stealing From Mall: Police A Hudson Valley man faces several charges after he was caught with crack cocaine and stolen merchandise from both a Macy's and LensCrafters in a Northern Westchester mall, police said. Man Accused Of Stealing $274 Worth Of Items From Macy's In Area A local man was arrested for allegedly stealing more than $250 worth of merchandise a Northern Westchester Macy's. Lidia Fuego, 46, of Putnam Valley, was arrested on Monday, Nov. 9, after Yorktown Police responded to the Macy's at the Jefferson Valley Mall for a report of past theft, said the Yorktown Police. Following an investigation, police found that Fuego allegedly stole assorted merchandise from the store worth $274.49, police said. Fuego was charged with petit larceny and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, Nov. 24.

Video: Coyote Chases Deer In Front Yard Of Area Home It wasn't a roadrunner, but a coyote failed to get his mark during a chase with an animal in Northern Westchester. A coyote was caught on a doorbell camera in Yorktown Heights chasing a deer before veering off and heading in a different direction in defeat.  The surveillance video was taken near the Jefferson Valley Mall off of Oakside Road. Audi Employee From Mahopac Used Vehicle For Two Weeks, Police Say A Mahopac woman who worked at an Audi dealership was arrested and charged after she took out a car for more than two weeks. Briana Adorno, 21, was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a Class A Misdemeanor.  The dealership reported one of its loaner vehicles was missing on Dec. 14. Police located the vehicle on Dec. 18 at the Jefferson Valley Mall and found Adorno took the vehicle on Nov. 30. Adorno surrendered to police on Dec. 18. She was released on her own recognizance and is due back in court on Jan. 18.
