Demar Reinfurt, age 43, of Schenectady, was sentenced to 22 years behind bars in Schenectady County Court on Thursday, Sept. 7, after being convicted of multiple violent felonies. Hammer Attack: Man Brutally Beat Woman Locked Inside His Home In Region, Jury Finds A man accused of brutally attacking a woman with a hammer inside his home in the region, leaving her with a cracked skull and broken bones, has been convicted by a jury. Demar Reinfurt, age 43, was found guilty of multiple felonies by a Schenectady County jury on Thursday, July 6, in connection with the March 2020 attack inside his Schenectady apartment.
