3 Teens Hospitalized After Rollover Crash In Front Of Dutchess Deli
Three Hudson Valley teens were hospitalized following a rollover, head-on collision in front of a deli. The crash took place in Dutchess County around 2:45 p.m., on Monday, March 20 on Route 9 in front of the Cornucopia Deli in Red Hook. An investigation revealed that a 2002 Jeep being operated by a 16-year-old girl from Milan was northbound on Route 9. A 2001 Chevrolet being driven by an 83-year-old Red Hook woman attempted to exit the Cornucopia Deli parking lot failing to yield to the Jeep resulting in a head-on collision, Red Hook Police said. Man, Woman From Poughkeepsie Charged After Missing 14-Year-Old Killed In Crash
A man and a woman from a behavioral institute for young adults and children have been charged in connection with a crash that killed a missing 14-year-old boy. The crash took place in Columbia County on Friday, Sept. 23 in Clermont on Route 9. According to Trooper AJ Hicks, Romelo Cruze was killed after being hit by a vehicle. While the State Police were investigating the fatal crash, Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in in Dutchess County, located in Red Hook, reported that Cruze, a resident of their facility, was missing, Hicks said. 14-Year-Old Struck, Killed While Walking On Highway In Area
A 14-year-old was struck and killed while walking on a highway in the region. Emergency crews in Columbia County were called shortly before 5 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, with reports of a car vs. pedestrian crash in the town of Clermont, on State Route 9 near County Route 8. New York State Police determined that a 2007 Ford F550 was traveling northbound on Highway 9 when it struck the teenager, who was walking in the roadway at the time. Suspect Charged In Shooting That Led To School Lockouts In Region
A suspect has been charged after a shooting in the region forced several schools into lockouts. The shooting happened in Columbia County on Woods Road on Friday, June 10 in the town of Clermont. One injured victim was rushed to a local hospital for treatment, police said. A suspect is behind bars after a shooting in the Capital District that forced several schools into a lockout. In Columbia County, crews in the town of Clermont were called to Woods Road on Friday, June 10, after reports of a shooting, according to New York State Police.
