A former corrections officer will spend years in prison for attempting to bring an untraceable gun into a business in the region. Timothy Feldman, age 23, was sentenced to between two and six years behind bars in Saratoga County Court on Wednesday, Feb. 28. Jury Rejects Claim Police Caused 23-Year-Old's Death During Chase In Region
A police department is off the hook for civil damages in the death of a 23-year-old man who died following a late-night foot chase in the region. Jurors in Saratoga County sided with the City of Saratoga Springs Tuesday, Oct. 17, after a two-week trial in the wrongful death lawsuit brought by the family of Darryl Mount. The young man was left in a coma after falling from scaffolding while running from Saratoga Springs Police officers at around 3 a.m. Aug. 31, 2013. Judge Tosses Off-Duty Cop's Attempted Murder Charge In Area Shooting Melee
A judge has dismissed an attempted murder charge against an off-duty sheriff’s deputy who was shot nearly a dozen times by police following a late-night melee in the region. The Saratoga County incident, which was captured on officer-worn body camera footage, happened at around 3 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, 2022 in Saratoga Springs near Broadway and Caroline Street.
