Year-Long Investigation Leads To Auto Theft Charge For Pleasant Valley Man A Pleasant Valley man was arrested for alleged auto theft following a yearlong investigation into the incident. Matthew R. Mcclay, 22, was charged Friday, June 14, in connection with the incident that allegedly took place in April 2018, said Rhinebeck Police Sgt. Peter Dunn. Mcclay was charged with grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, forgery of a vehicle ID number, auto stripping and unauthorized use of a vehicle, Dunn said. He was arraigned and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail on $1,500 cash bail. Mcclay is scheduled to appear in court on July 10.

Scarpino, Jr. announced the arrest on Tuesday in the theft of a Toyota SUV from a Mount Kisco car dealership using a stolen identity.  Shamakia Walker turned herself into Mount Kisco Police Sunday. She was arraigned in Village of Mount Kisco Justice Court on two charges: grand larceny in the second degree, a Class C felony, and identity theft in the first degree, a Class D felony.
