Missing 3-Year-Old Found Dead In Region A Rensselaer County family is grieving the loss of their 3-year-old child after he was found dead in a swimming pool. The boy was reported missing Sunday, April 17, from a house on Oakhurst Street in Pleasantdale, the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement. After an extensive search that included more than 100 volunteers, the boy was eventually found unresponsive in a pool on the property where he lived. Semiconscious Girls Rushed To Westchester Medical Center After Near Drowning In Area Two young girls ages 2 and 3 were pulled semiconscious from a pool outside a home in the area. The incident took place around 12:30 p.m., Monday, May 20, at a home on Sydell Lane in Spring Valley, said Ramapo Police Sgt. Shawn Baker. First responders who arrived on the scene found the girls in the partially-fenced pool, semiconscious and not breathing, police said.
